Pool and garden
The water does not smell of chlorine, and there is a reason
The pool is spacious, located in the garden, and features a sunny area and a place to relax. We use a high-efficiency filtration system with copper ion injection, which helps maintain chlorine levels very low and practically imperceptible.
For guests traveling with children or those with sensitive skin, this difference becomes especially noticeable after spending a few days enjoying the pool.
What does not work as well
We prefer to be transparent: during the sunniest hours, approximately between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the pool area has limited shade. We do not have umbrellas or shade structures in this area. During these hours, many guests prefer to relax in the rancho or in the garden areas under the trees, where they can enjoy more shade and a cooler atmosphere. To enjoy the pool with more comfortable temperatures, we recommend using it before 11:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m.
The garden is a shared space with the neighboring house, where the hotel owners live. In practice, this means that the garden is maintained daily and that you may occasionally meet a member of the family.
The pool is available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To respect the comfort and tranquility of all guests, loud music is not allowed, and guests are asked to avoid excessive noise after 8:00 p.m.
Coolers and outside beverages are not allowed in the pool area. Any drinks consumed in this area must be purchased from the hotel café-restaurant.
Guests must enter the pool wearing a swimsuit and use the shower located in the garden before entering the water.
The pool has a deep area of up to 3 meters (10 feet), so it is intended only for guests who know how to swim. Children may use the pool only when accompanied and supervised by their parents or another responsible adult.
Gym
A gym, not a club
The gym is open from 6:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m. and is equipped with cardio and strength training equipment available for guests to use freely.
We do not have a trainer or guided classes; it is a workout space equipped with exercise machines and a window overlooking the garden, designed so you can maintain your routine while traveling.
The gym is air-conditioned and features two treadmills, a multi-gym strength station, a stationary bike, an elliptical machine, a rowing machine, and dumbbells of different sizes.
Café · restaurant
The café-restaurant is located at the entrance, with views of the garden and the street.
Buffet breakfast · 7:00 a. m. to 9:30 a. m.
Included in the rate, for guests only
Seasonal fruit and juices, cereals, coffee, eggs to order and gallo pinto. The eggs are cooked however you want: it is what comes up most in reviews.
If you leave before 7, let reception know the night before.
For the rest of the day the café is also open to the public. It is one of the few in the centre with a garden view and no loud music.
The café-restaurant is open to the public every day from 11:30 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. The buffet breakfast, served from 7:00 a. m. to 9:30 a. m., is available exclusively for hotel guests. If a guest would like to invite someone who is not staying at the hotel, an additional charge of C$ 293.05 (USD 8) applies for breakfast.
Coffee
High-quality Nicaraguan coffee, prepared your way: espresso, americano, cappuccino, and cold coffee options.
Food
We offer light options such as paninis, sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, chili con carne, hummus, and refried beans. We also serve main dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti, and a variety of preparations with chicken, beef, and pork. In addition, we feature some Nicaraguan specialties, including repochetas, nacatamales, and chancho con yuca. One of our house specialties is goulash served with mashed potatoes.
Sweet
Homemade cakes, juices and seasonal fruit smoothies.
With alcohol
Enjoy a variety of beverages, including smoothies, shakes, fresh natural juices, beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails. Our mojito is one of the house favorites and one of the most appreciated in León.
Nacatamales are not available every day. Ask at reception: when there are some, they run out early.
